Winners Announced For 2009 Harvey Awards
The nominees for the 2009 Harvey Awards (a.k.a. the Harveys) were announced on Saturday, October 10th at the Baltimore Comic-Con, spotlighting a wide range of comic industry creators, titles, and publishers.
Regarded as one of the comics industry's oldest and most respected awards, the Harveys recognize outstanding achievements ranging from Best Artist to Best New Talent. Launched in 1988, the Harveys are also "the only industry awards both nominated by and selected by the full body of comics professionals."
The 2009 Harvey Award winners are as follows:
