About Our Reviews


Bookshelf presents a list of graphic novel reviews, courtesy of Industry Professional Kat Kan, as well as Reed Business Industries Publications Publishers Weekly, Library Journal and School Library Journal. This list is categorized by age rating and is updated monthly.

Kat Kan has been a librarian since 1984, and has worked exclusively as a young adult librarian since 1988. Voice of Youth Advocates has published her column on comics and graphic novels, "Graphically Speaking," since 1995; it appears three times a year, in the February, June, and October issues.
